Gen Y is about a girl named Mia (Hartwell). She is 22 years old. She just graduated college with a BFA in acting. Her Dads' (Auslander and Henzel) are paying all her bills because she can't find work. Her one dad wants her to pursue her dreams, while the other is ready to cut her off. Mia lives with Lily (Cassera) and Heather (Kocik). Lily is a photography student. She has a mental illness, that she is too scared to share with people, so she keeps it bottled up, until she meets Charles (Santasier).Heather works for a famous musician, Jesse (Robinson). She has been in charge of his social media since he decided to be a singer. Jesse is reckless, and thinks he is above the law.
